Building Australia's Future Workforce Advertising Campaign
Posted on Wednesday, 7 September 2011 | Permalink
An advertising campaign was launched on national television, radio and YouTube on Sunday 4 September 2011. The campaign encourages viewers to consider upskilling. The TV and YouTube ads depict mothers thinking of going back to work, tradesmen wondering what they could do when they can no longer manage physical work, people thinking of gaining/adding to qualifications to see if they can improve their career prospects.
The campaign is supported by a website www.skills.gov.au and a referral line 133196.
The campaign is expected to run for a number of weeks and this may have a positive impact on enquiries and an increased interest in Australian Apprenticeships generally.
